Villa Sabaou is the perfect balance between two worlds, like a hidden paradise amidst the festive buzz of the Basque coast.
Mylène Wilks-Coste
Traditional Feng Shui Master

Feng Shui, a millennia-old discipline, is largely based on common sense-often forgotten in a modern world obsessed with space optimization.
The fundamental principles of Feng Shui remind us that to live harmoniously in a space, several essential elements must be respected:
Balance is essential in a home where one wishes to grow and thrive in complete serenity.
The harmonious integration of the home into its environment is essential for living in symbiosis with it.
Qi (chi), this vital energy, must flow freely, like breath in our lungs. Without it, we risk not only feeling confined but also experiencing oppressive situations.

According to Mylène Wilks-Coste, the challenge of this construction project lay precisely in these three aspects, as the narrow and elongated plot is located in an already densely urbanized neighborhood.
My role alongside the architect was to ensure the creation of a balanced living space, one that doesn’t feel cramped and that integrates naturally into its surroundings. The precise placement of openings was crucial so the house could breathe. That’s what brings the space to life, giving it both a sense of openness while remaining cozy and warm.
The result is remarkable: the house offers spacious areas with beautiful volumes, but above all, it exudes a soothing atmosphere.
Dear to our client’s heart, this home faithfully reflects the codes of Basque architecture, honoring the traditional style of the house-known as the "Exte", as we say here.
Fabrice Bisauta
Architecture agency Créhouse à Anglet
According to Fabrice Bisauta, constraints give rise to ideas and stimulate the imagination.
This was certainly the case with this Villa, which was designed according to Feng Shui principles.
A professionally enriching collaboration that greatly benefited this project and made it a truly unique villa in many ways.
